Loveness

Tending to the Etsy link posted previously, I have added some handmade baby blankets to the Shop!!

Years ago, after noticing how much my own children were drawn to the silky lining on their treasured lovies, and thinking back to my own "ni-ni", I began making blankets for friends. I was so attracted to this one line of polka dotted flannel that I bought it whenever I ran across it. And since then have collected flannels that resonate with the folks that seek out brighter and bolder prints for the children in their lives. The charmeuse I work with is pleasantly silky to the touch but also durable enough to withstand years of rubs and cuddles. It is also available in every color imaginable, so watch for more unique combinations!

Each blanket I sew is two layers; one of flannel, one charmeuse, with an added accent triangle of silky-ness and a ribbon tag for little hands to fondle. If you can get out away from them, it's also machine washable.

These blankets are perfect for playing peek-a-boo, swaddling a newborn or babydoll, or as a transitional object.

Thanks for stopping by!
